Hello guys, if you want to join Coursera's IBM Technical Support Certification but not sure whether you should join it or not then you have come to the right place. In this article, we have reviewed this certification form learner point of view. IBM Technical Support Certification offered by Coursera is a comprehensive program designed to help learners acquire the necessary skills to provide technical support services to organizations. With a focus on providing high-quality training and hands-on experience, the program will teach you all the skills and knowledge required to provide effective technical support. But the question is, is it worth the investment in terms of time and money? In this article, we will review the IBM Technical Support Certification program offered by Coursera to help you determine whether it's worth pursuing


Is IBM TEchnical Support Professional certificate worth it on Coursera?

The role of IT Technical Support is to monitor the company computers, install software, configure the hardware, and solve the technical issues that happen to the company computers. If you are planning to learn these skills, I recommend the IBM Technical Support Course, which high rating score and a few thousand enrollments.

This course is taught by the best IBM experts in the information technology field, such as Rav Ahuja, who is the instructor for many IBM courses on Coursera. Also, Amy Norton worked for over 15 years in the IT field and developing Technical Support content.

Now that we know who created this course, its time to checkout what is covered in this course and how well that is covered. 

2.1. Introduction to Hardware and Operating Systems

The first thing you need to know before you start learning this field is to understand the computer, how they work, their hardware, and also the operating systems which are required for any tech job.

You will start by learning the Microsoft Windows operating system and then move to learn the hardware, which is the computer components such as the motherboard components, the central processing unit, hard drivers, and more. You will learn also learn to categorize the ports and add peripherals.



2.2. Introduction to Software, Programming, and Databases

Many types of software work on the computer operating system, and you will use it in your daily activities. This specialization section will help you learn how to manage them from the information technology (IT) perspective.

You will learn about the computing platforms and using the right software for your task. Also, learn about web browsers, how to use them properly, and their extensions. Next, you will understand cloud computing and its architecture, programming languages, and database fundamentals.



2.3. Introduction to Networking and Storage
